"I am delighted to have been asked to become an Ambassador for the Cape Town Cricket 6's. This sports programme is set to deliver one of the most exciting amateur 6's cricket events in the world. The CSR initiative #HitPovertyforaSix will also serve to enhance awareness and accessibility to the sport for those less fortunate. It's a great initiative and I'm looking forward to being involved.”

"I am honoured to have been asked to become a sports Ambassador for this magnificent initiative, I look forward to working alongside some of crickets greatest legends of this wonderful game we enjoy so much. The responsibility of representing my country wherever I was, and this responsibility came with the success that I had over the years, not just myself but all cricketers, and athletes in general are, in this moment, the biggest ambassadors that our country has."

'“I can’t think of a better way to spend a weekend than with a group of friends participating in the incredible Cape Town Sixes Cricket Festival. I am privileged to be an ambassador for this amazing event!"
Ambassador & MC
'I’m extremely honoured and excited to have been given the opportunity of being an Ambassador and MC at the inaugural Cape Town Cricket 6’s. An event of this nature is something that goes hand in hand with the city’s vibrant cricket culture.
It’s great to see that the organisers have invested in a CSI campaign which will focus on grass roots development. I am confident that this initiative will allow many youngsters to have access to the sporting environment, facilities and coaching that they deserve.
The on-field banter between friends, colleagues and old team mates, coupled with support from the locals, will definitely add that special “Cape Town gees” to festivities. I look forward to celebrating the game we love so dearly over an action-packed weekend.'
